It Takes a Village
The Full Story
In 2022, my teenage son experienced a mental health and substance use crisis.
I felt scared, isolated, and did not know where to turn. I did a ton of research and connected with people I never would have known and it put me on a path to help other individuals and families affected by substance use disorder (SUD).

Since then, I’ve become certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, completed the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy for Young People, and have nearly completed graduate coursework toward becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I work to reduce stigma, expand access, and support families navigating recovery and mental health challenges.
My work is rooted in emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed principles. I am trained in yoga, Reiki, DBT-based mindfulness, and trauma-informed care: approaches that help people show up with clarity, resilience, and compassion in complex systems.
