It Takes a Village
Parent Coaching
In 2022, my teenage son experienced a mental health and substance use crisis.
I felt scared, isolated, and did not know where to turn. I did a ton of research and connected with people I never would have known and it put me on a path to help other individuals and families affected by substance use disorder (SUD).
Since then, I’ve become completed graduate coursework and the Maine State exam as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), I am certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, and completed the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy for Young People. I work to reduce stigma, expand access, and support families navigating substance use and mental health challenges.
My work is rooted in emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed principles. I am trained in yoga, Reiki, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care: approaches that help people show up with clarity, resilience, and compassion in complex systems.
Sometimes we need a little support to get through hard times. I offer:
